Try your hand on the pottery wheel. This is a single 2 hour session on the wheel with step by step instructions on centering the clay, pulling the walls into a cylinder, bowl or unique creation of your own.

About the Event
The class session is held at Studio 324 in the back of Boom Town Makers Market. It can last up to 2 hours though most people are done with time to spare. I will show you how to center your ball of clay on the wheel, shape it into a cylinder, or bowl, add the finishing touches and select the color glaze you want for your finished piece. Once your class is completed it will take 2 - 3 weeks to glaze and fire your project.
*We have 3 wheels and recommend no more than 6 people at a time for wheel classes.
*For wheel throwing classes, we recommend ages 10+ but younger children are welcome with an adult.
